You’ll both get an introduction email. The recipient replies all to choose a time and confirm the location.

Your spot is booked immediately. An introduction email connects you with the giver.

Who can take part?
All Acton parents, LaunchPad learners, and guides are welcome to offer and receive gifts.
What can I offer?
A skill, an experience, a helping hand, or time doing something you love. You don’t need to be a professional. Think baking, chess, gardening, making things, or a walk together.
What happens after I reserve?
Your spot is booked right away. Reply all to the introduction email to arrange the details.
What if I need to cancel, or don’t hear back?
Let the other person know by replying to your introduction email, then open My gifts and release your reservation so the spot becomes available again. If the giver hasn’t replied after a few days, send a follow-up. If you still can’t arrange it, release the spot and choose another gift.
Where do in-person gifts happen?
Each offer lists a general meeting area. Agree on the exact location together by email before you meet. For an online gift, arrange the call link the same way.
Who covers materials?
The giver covers their time and all materials needed for the gift, including ingredients or supplies. Anything you need to bring will be listed in the offer.
Does my experience need to happen by December 25?
No. Reserve between November 30 and December 25, 2026, then agree on a date with the giver. The experience can happen afterward.
Do I need to give a gift to receive one?
No. Give what feels right, and feel welcome to receive. There’s no payment and no need for a direct exchange.
